Regional Friends and Library Board Summit
The board is scheduled to consider action on holding a joint summit with the Friends of the Pflugerville Library, the volunteer group that raises money and supports library programs. Closer coordination could mean better-funded programs and events.
Athletic Field Allocation Policy Review

Councilmember Metayer wants a 'default yes' policy within set parameters, plus a bigger conversation about field costs, concessions, and whether tournaments should subsidize resident recreation — to be coordinated with the pending parks study.
Library Facility Landscaping
The board will look at potential landscaping improvements around the library building. Better outdoor spaces make the library more inviting and functional for community gatherings.
Library board membership and attendance
Board member Oscar Flores was removed after missing more than three consecutive meetings due to work obligations, and alternate Megan Conradt was moved into his seat. The board stressed it was not personal and invited him to reapply later.
